Credifax was established to preserve the local credit service and collection presence that had been the norm, prior to the closures of the commercial branches of Equifax/Creditel in Atlantic Canada.

The Construction Industry Credit Bureau is a trade name registered by Credifax. As the name suggests, we provide specialized construction credit reporting services to a broad spectrum of construction related suppliers. We service the credit and collection requirements of the region's largest building supply dealers, construction, industrial, heavy equipment, wholesale plumbing and electrical suppliers. In addition to the construction credit sector, we also serve the region’s largest foodservice and advertising suppliers.

CredinetTM Advantage

Our online credit service operates in Canada under the registered trade mark, CredinetTM. Service is provided exclusively by Credifax Atlantic Limited in the Atlantic region. Our online credit exchange program and credit group services are sold and serviced by authorized distributors in other centers.

Consumer & Commercial Credit

The company is licensed for credit reporting under the Consumer Reporting Act (NS). We are licensed to provide collection services throughout the Atlantic Provinces. Collection service to other centers is provided through an established network of affiliates from Ontario to Alberta. The company is bonded for your added protection.

Founder & President – Rodger D. Noel, B.Comm., A.C.I

Rodger is a former Vice-President of Creditel of Canada Limited and Equifax Canada Inc. Rodger’s career in credit spans an impressive 38 years, in senior management roles, with national and international credit and collection service companies.  

He served as Chairman, President and Dean of the Credit Institute of Canada, in Toronto, in 2008. Rodger has demonstrated his professionalism and leadership in the industry, through the many boards and legislative review committees on which he served including: Newfoundland Law Reform Commission (1984), Small Claims Court Reform (NS), and he represented the Credit Institute of Canada at The National Insolvency Forums in 1999.

Awards & Designations:

A.C.I. designation (Associate Credit Institute) in 1997. The designation identifies qualified credit professionals that have been recognized by the Credit Institute of Canada.
